The Clay County Board of Elections, located in Celina, TN, is a government office that oversees local elections in Clay County. The Board of Elections holds general elections, caucuses, primaries, and special elections, including elections for Clay County, the city of Celina, Tennessee state, and federal offices. The Clay County Elections Department, also known as the Board of Registrars, manages poll locations, certifies election results, and promotes fair and legal elections.

IS THERE ACCESSIBLE VOTING AVAILABLE?
All voting precinct locations and the early voting facility have accessible voting. Voters may also request to vote by absentee ballot.
WHAT FORMS OF ID DO I NEED TO VOTE?
All voters must present a federal or Tennessee state ID containing the voter’s name and photograph when voting at the polls, whether voting early or on Election Day unless an exemption below applies. See the TN Elections Voter ID Requirements page for more info.

WHAT ARE THE ELECTION COMMISSION OFFICE HOURS?
The Clay County Election Commission hours are: Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays from 9 AM to 4 PM.
HOW LONG DO I HAVE TO LIVE IN CLAY COUNTY TO VOTE HERE?
A resident can register immediately but to determine whether a person is a resident of Tennessee and Clay County for purposes of voter registration, the administer of elections must consider certain factors. HOW CAN I BECOME A POLL WORKER?
